Meet Scott Brock for Commissioner
I am an husband, father, Idaho native, combat veteran,
government hired hand, local business owner, and I have worked behind the scenes in his community for years. I am a staunch conservative, and have been since 1986. Tired of watching unchecked growth destroy communities, create congestion, and rob those same communities of the Idaho way of life. Tired of watching uncontrolled spending, skyrocketing tax burdens, and overreach by all levels of government. I want to put the breaks on all the above. Dedicated to helping in all ways possible to fight the flow of drugs, illegal labor, and crime within our communities that unchecked growth brings. Canyon County is a great place to live, but without someone fighting to keep spending down, your taxes will continue to go up. Subdivisions will be in every field. Crime will become out of control. Canyon County should work for you, not milk every dollar from your paycheck. I will fight back, I will say NO. Commissioners tend to work for the county once elected, instead of keeping their commitment to the people of the county. I will work for those who reside in the county.
I love my home state of Idaho. I love the mountains, the lakes, the rivers. I am not a political operative, nor live my entire life focused on politics. I typically spend over 100 days a year in the mountains somewhere. My life is great having raised to kids to adulthood. I could easily sit and home, and ignore the problems, and headaches that running for office brings, but I do not know how to walk away from a problem. I solve them. I vow to do the right thing for those of us in CC and specifically District 1.
Hunter, fisherman, competitive pistol and rifle shooter, coach, and American. Dirty hands, clean money.
